Corn is easy to grow, but you need to wait at least 90 days before you can harvest the bounty.
Plant corn from late Spring (post frosts) and into Summer. Corn prefers warm and sunny conditions with temperatures not dipping below 18 degrees.
Fertilise well, preferably using mulch and/or organic matter.
Sow the kernels directly into the soil, about 2cm down, and at least 30cm apart. Corn needs a lot of water, so keep a look out for leaf curling (means that its dry).
It can look a little untidy as it gets close to harvest time.
