You need to be patient to grow fruit. It can be difficult to get it to the point of harvest, and difficult to keep the harvest (courtesy of possums, birds and other creatures).

Fruit takes a little more care than vegetables, and it is recommended that you carefully consider your available space, quality of the soil, and the size the canopies of any tree, before committing. Fruit trees and bushes demand attention, and you need to be prepared to fertilise the soil, prune in Winter, and water religiously in Summer.
